Parkalot Product Updates 

Parkalot now supports post-payments, making it easier for companies and coworking spaces to charge users for their parking bookings.

What’s new:

• Connect a Stripe account directly through Parkalot to enable payments.
• Stripe supports a range of local and regional payment methods, including TWINT in Switzerland and BLIK in Poland.
• Users can make parking bookings as usual, with payments handled securely through Stripe.
• At the end of each month, users receive an invoice by email with a payment link.
• The post-pay model makes it easier to manage recurring parking payments without requiring payment at the time of booking.

• Booking requests now take an average of 0.37 seconds, a 2.5x speed increase that keeps Parkalot highly performant.
• Administrators can now access the Reservations List in order to view all current and upcoming bookings.
• We’ve made several UI tweaks for the mobile dashboard
• It’s now easier for users to manage their permanently assigned parking spaces and/or desks.

The Parkalot app is now available in Italian, supporting our international clients.

• Users can choose their own individual language, easily switching in-app.
• Language changes are applied across the app for a complete experience.
• We’ve worked hard to properly localise all parking, desk and resource booking terms to reflect common workplace terminology used in Italy.

We’ve added a new viewing mode, giving admins greater insights in the calendar.

Google Calendar integration can now be set up for individual users, with no organisation-wide Google Workspace install required.

How it works:

• Admin confirmation is needed for each user before activation.
• The update allows personal calendar use for booking and reminders.

No additional company setup is needed for this feature. Existing Google Workspace functionality remains unchanged.

You can now set up new email reminders on your company account-perfect for ensuring smooth sharing of EV chargers and other hourly-booked spaces throughout the day.

What’s new:

• Additional notifications: Remind users when their reservation is about to end.
• Customisable messages: Tailor the reminder content to match your company culture and branding.
• Flexible timing: Choose when reminders are sent – anywhere from 60 minutes up to the exact end time of the reservation.

Integrate Parkalot with Slack to receive updates about your reservations. Now available for all Parkalot subscription plans.

Changes:

• Slack integration is now available for all Parkalot subscription plans.
• Parkalot and Slack can be now easily connected for improved information flow across platforms used in your workplace.

Changes:

• Administrators can now view the schedule in the mobile version of the application on both Android and iOS devices. It is also accessible via the Parkalot web app at web.parkalot.io.
• The redesigned schedule provides an overview of all bookings within the organisation, eliminating the need to switch between facilities.

Changes:

• Users can now choose to join the waitlist for specific areas, rather than joining a general waitlist. This feature is particularly convenient for companies with parking lots in multiple locations, allowing users to receive a space in their preferred areas and avoid less desirable options.

Changes:

• A chat is automatically created between people who booked a tandem space. This allows them to arrange their arrival and departure schedules easily.
• We improved the way tandem spaces are defined in the application. Now it’s possible to precisely define which parking space restricts access to which parking space.

Changes:
